Bella Roma!!
We left Sorrento on Tuesday morning and travelled to Rome. It was a beautiful morning in Sorrento but it was rain8ng by the time we got to Rome. We met our guide, Stuart, at 2 pm, outside of the Colosseum. We donned our rain gear and headed out for our tour. We spent an hour seeing and hearing about the inside of the Colosseum. We were under cover for a good part of it but still managed to get quite wet during our visit. It was very busy because there are lots of student tours happening right now. I can’t imagine what a zoo it would be in the summer!! Once we finished our Colosseum tour we all agreed that we were cold and wet enough, so we opted to finish our tour on the bus. We spent an hour driving past many of the important sites in the historic part of Rome. It is absolutely amazing and impossible to see everything in just a few days. We checked into our hotel at 4:30 and had enough time to dry out, change and relax a bit bef...
